For a better experience, an app may transmit information about the device, OS and app configuration, in order to drive further development of the app in question. If a location is included, it will be rounded to 1 degree (>100km), except when requesting specific location-related services from third parties (e.g. weather, satellite passes).
The free apps that contain advertisements do use a third party service (Google Admob) that may collect information used to identify you.
